50,000-square-foot addition expands capabilities and supports community growth
We were proud to attend the ribbon-cutting for the new Remanufacturing Facility in Columbus, Mississippi, marking another milestone in our long-standing partnership between JESCO and PACCAR.
The project consisted of a 50,000-square-foot addition to PACCAR’s existing 400,000-square-foot engine manufacturing facility originally constructed by JESCO in 2010.
Since then, the PACCAR facility has produced more than 350,000 diesel engines for customers such as Kenworth Manufacturing Company and Peterbilt while employing over 800 people in the process. These engines are built to last up to 10 years (or roughly one million miles) before needing replacement. The new remanufacturing plant will allow PACCAR to give these engines a second life, extending their durability and performance.
We’re proud to contribute to this growth in the community and to support PACCAR as they expand their operations.
