First National Bank of Oxford - Tupelo Branch

Tupelo, Mississippi

Secure, modern banking facility designed for expansion and built with architectural detail in the heart of downtown Tupelo

Project Overview

To support its expansion into the Tupelo market, First National Bank of Oxford commissioned a new two-story, 8,000 SF branch bank in the city’s Fairpark District. JESCO constructed the facility with a focus on safety, security, and long-term adaptability.

The building includes a highly reinforced valuables/safe room, a secure ATM room, and an interactive automated teller. On the second floor, a board member conference room opens to a 300 SF balcony overlooking downtown. The facility also includes future tenant space designed for growth.

The structural system features conventional steel framing with concrete floors, and the exterior showcases a mix of Arriscraft stone base, aged brick veneer, and GFRC cornice detailing for a timeless and professional appearance.

Challenges and Solutions

Strict security requirements and design precision were critical. JESCO ensured early coordination with security consultants for safe room and ATM infrastructure, and maintained strict tolerances in veneer work to meet aesthetic goals within a compressed timeline.

Positioned for both daily banking operations and long-term commercial use, this project blends architectural distinction with functional performance reinforcing First National Bank of Oxford’s presence in the Tupelo market.
