Project Overview

JESCO, Inc. partnered with Roll Form Group (USA), Inc. to deliver a 210,000-square-foot sheet piling and highway guardrail manufacturing facility at Yellow Creek Port in Iuka, Mississippi. Completed in just 11 months using a streamlined design-build approach, the project maximized efficiency and minimized lead times. The facility features 190,000 SF of manufacturing space to accommodate heavy-duty equipment and process lines, along with 20,000 SF of office and employee support areas designed for functionality and comfort. Engineered for high-capacity production, the plant includes oversized equipment foundations, process trenches, uncoiler and flying saw foundations, looping pits up to 16 feet below floor level, four 35-ton overhead bridge cranes, and a fully integrated rail spur running directly through the building to support seamless inbound and outbound logistics.

Challenges and Solutions

The complexity of the equipment layout and the deep foundations required precise sequencing and coordination. JESCO’s in-house expertise across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes ensured all heavy foundations and pit excavations were installed to exact specifications, on time and without disrupting the overall project schedule. The integrated rail system was coordinated with site logistics to support long-term operational throughput.
