The scope of the 33,000 square feet facility includes a 12,000 square feet surgical center, four surgery rooms, pre-op/recovery, lead lined walls, piped medical gas system, 22 exam rooms and two x-ray areas. Physical Therapy includes full therapy area for rehabilitation and an in-ground therapy pool.
Before construction could begin, the site required extensive demolition, undercut and fill. The building is structural steel construction with masonry, glass storefront, six radius roofs, extensive millwork, cantilevered canopies, interior masonry, fire-wall separation, backup general system, and access control system. The contractor self-performed the concrete foundations, concrete flat work, general carpentry and site paving.
