Project Overview

JESCO, Inc. constructed the RSA Judicial Office Building which rises to twelve stories and encompasses an expansive 400,000 square feet. Integrating the historic Alabama Supreme Court Building, it harmonizes tradition with innovation. Crafted from cast-in-place concrete and structural steel, the structure boasts towering 28-foot trusses spanning 160 feet. Its exterior showcases a fusion of precast concrete and curtain wall elements. Inside, attention has been given to the restoration of the venerable courtroom and law library, featuring Venetian plaster work. Complementing its stature, the building offers two-level parking and a basement housing electrical and HVAC infrastructure. Notably, the Honor Court stands adorned with five striking life-size bronze statues, paying homage to the distinguished lineage of past Chief Justices.
